Feminine charm cannot be manufactured, but this is pretty close. The Gail is a model of strength and beauty. Timeless features and intricate details underscore this modern watch — named for Emily T Gail, celebrated founder of the “Say Nice Things About Detroit” movement. The Slate Blue guilloche dial is accentuated with railroad tracking. The polished stainless steel case features a coin edge bezel, convex curves and a pumpkin crown set with a Mother of Pearl cabochon. A smooth, black leather strap further elevates the look. As it turns out, everything is not too much to ask for.

This high-accuracy quartz movement — hand-assembled in Detroit with 43 components — drives the hours, minutes, seconds and date function with precision. It is built in Detroit with Swiss and imported parts.
The solid, polished stainless steel case features a coin edge bezel, an ornate pumpkin crown set with a Mother of Pearl cabochon and double dome sapphire crystal. Sapphire is second only to the diamond in hardness and much more durable than mineral glass when it comes to protecting the watch from scratches.
It’s not only fun to say, it’s exquisite by design. Featured in Slate Blue with sunray finish, this dial includes thoughtful details such as railroad tracking, both applied indexes and applied Arabic numerals in polished silver and Super-LumiNova hands.
Smooth and sophisticated, this leather strap will develop a patina over time, enhancing the overall character of the watch. Cut and sewn in America, it is removable and customizable with the purchase of an additional strap.
From start to finish, the process of building one box involves nearly 80 craftspeople. Skilled workers transform raw hickory, sourced from sustainably managed forests in the Northwest US, into a custom home for a high-quality timepiece. As a finishing touch, each watch box is polished by hand.
